Next week i'm going to see Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.
I've been dying to go ever since i saw a trailer in my local pc store (it was a sort of screensaver in movie version, if you get it). So then we had the "the cinema release and dvd-release are to close together so we ain't buying it shit". So when i finally heard last week that i was going to be able to watch it in the Cinema i was thrilled. So you get how i felt when i heard i could see it in IMAX 3D.
I also just love the movei screens that have come out over the past couple of weeks.
I mean look at them...

Oh and don't forget the OPI Nail Polish range that has just come out....

Can somebody get me a bib, i'm drooling over here...

Book review

Hello and a happy monday to everyone..!!

A couple of weeks ago i picked up the latest novel by one of my favorite authors, Sophie Kinsella.
Her latest book is called Twenties Girl and this it what Sophie's Webpage says about it:

Well i fell in love with Sophie's Shopaholic book, and the love keeps flowing.
Yesterday afternoon, while my bf was watching football, i decided to choose a book from my enormous pile of unread books. I was in for a nice chicklit, so Twenties Girl was a obvious choice.

If i like a book i pretty much read it non stop. Sometimes i like a book that much that i don't want it to end.
So then i force myself to only read a couple of chapters, and put it aside.
But as "Twenties Girl" is a chicklit i usually just don't stop reading untill i hit the last page.
So i read this puppy in about 4 hours.
And i really liked it. Ofcourse the main caracter, Lara, is also in a relationship that's ending, well technically it had already ended at the start of the book. And she meets a new guy.

So here are the points i award this book:

The Dutch Cover:           3 / 5 i miss the necklace on the cover
English Cover no. 1:       4 / 5
English Cover No. 2:      4 / 5
The Story:                      3.5 / 5 - I like it but it's a bit bland compared to her other books

Today i'll be sharing my favorite recipe for Pasta.

Ingredients: You'll need...

Pasta (I've used Penne)
ca. 1 pound of Minced Meat
Chilipaste (Optional)
Salt / Pepper
(Spicy) Tomato Sauce
Grated cheese, preferably Grana Pardano or Parmesan
Veggies, i took a short cut and bought a bag of ready to use Pasta Veggies.
The bag contained about a 1/2 pound of these veggies:
- Leek
- Courgette
- Red bell pepper
- Onion
- Carrot
And i used about a 1/2 pound of mushrooms.

Bring water to a boil in a big pot, and pour in the pasta.

Let it cook according to the directions on the package.

Slice/chop the veggies and mushrooms and put them in bowls for easy use.

Brown the minced meat, you can use turkey or chicken mince if you want to.

When the meat is done scoop it out and put aside.

Leave the grease in the pan, you'll use it to fry your veggies in it.

Pour the alle the veggies except for the mushrooms in the pan.

Stir fry till almost done, add mushrooms and stir.

When the veggies are done take them out and put aside.

Pour the sauce in the pan we just used.

I bought a ready to use spice sauce.

I''m lazy like that hahaha

To spice it up some more i've put some extra Sambal in the sauce.

Sambal is a kind of chilipaste that is popular in the Netherlands.

Once the sauce it the way you like it, add the minced meat.

While the meat in the sauce it heating up add the veggies to the Pasta.

And stir the veggies in with the pasta

now add the sauce to the pasta

and stir it though

doesn't it look yummie..??

If you want you can also add the meat and veggies to the sauce,

and serve the Pasta with the sauce on top.

But......

This pasta dish isn't complete topped with the best cheese..

So top your pasta with some Grana Pardano and then it will look like..

BB Cream

I just bought these:

For $56.99 on Ebay.

They've already been send out to me, I can't wait to get them.

I've read that these products make your skin smooth and even.

(And my girl Pam is a fan of Legere BB Cream and it makes her look even more beautiful than she already is.) And, well my skin is everything except that.

Right now i use a couple of brands (non of them are really expensive).

I have been using the Velvet Touch Foundation Primer from Gosh and it really does help.

This is what they say about it:

"The colorless formula fills in fine lines and deep pores in the skin, creating a uniform, matte and unique, silky soft surface, enabling the easy and smooth application of foundation. The primer can be used after daily moisturizer or on clean skin. You get a unique and even finish when applying your foundation that will never look dry or patchy. Contains Aloe Vera and is preservative-free and fragrance-free. "

My skin really isn't so dry anymore after i apply my foundation, and my skin feels really soft.

Velvet Touch Primer

I also have their Lift me up! foundation. I think i like it but i don't know for sure yet.

When i used it without the velvet primer i wasn't to craze about it.

Although the color looks really natural on me.

Since i started to use it together wih the primer things have started to come together.

But the only thing that still annoys the cr@p out of me is that i can still see my pores.

Not that they are gigantic but still, they're there.

My co-workers have been complementing me on my skin, so apparently my skin is looking better than before. But i hope the Legere BB Creams will solve my pore problem.

The other things i have from Gosh are these 2 lippies. (the pic is not mine, my camera is busted)

They're called the Light 'n Shine Lip Glaze.

And i absolutely love them.

They smell like heaven, feel like silk on your lips.

And best of all they don't stick..!!!

The packaging is mega cute, it ahtlso has a mirror on the side and a light in the top.

So you can even apply it in the dark without smearing it al over your face LOL.

I also have their Amazing Lenghth 'n Build Mascara - Waterproof.

And i have one of their nailpolishes, but after a day and a half of wearing it the edges are chipping off.

Oke i admit i was wrapping my mom in-law up in Duct tape so my fingers got stuck on the tape.

And that also ruined my nails. But i do like the color.

I'm Back, alive and kicking..!!!

Thta's my breaking news.

That and the fact i just booked my tickets to the USA.
I'll be going from october 1st untill october 23.
3 weeks of pure bliss.
I'll be visiting Los Angeles, San Diego (the Miramar airshow) ofcourse Las Vegas followed by Death Valley, Yosemite San Francisco, the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, The Monterey Bay Aquarium after which we'll follow the Pacific Coast Highway back to Los Angeles.
If any of you have some fun things to do along the way, please let me know.

I'm still trying to convince by bf to get married in while we're in Vegas.
But sofar it's a no no. LOL

I'm the type of girl that like to look at pretty weddingdresses, and would oneday like to wear one. But the idea of a big wedding..???
Nope..not for me.
Our family is really small, so i would be trowing a big party for about 8 people.
Literally.
I only have my mom and Grandpa.
And my boyfriend has his parents, brother + sister in-law and 2 Grandma's.
Although my mon would love to see me get married with a big party.
It's just not me (or my boyfriends) idea of a dreamwedding.
I would like it to be just the 2 of us in a place we love.
My mom will kill me if we do decide to get hitched in Vegas but that's her problem.
Ever since we went to my bf's nieces wedding, my feeling about my own wedding got stronger.
And i def. now know i want a small thing.
At the wedding of his niece, the person from the city that performs the ceremony.
Made some mistakes which were embarasing.
He told us thngs that were completely stupid to tell at a wedding.
He first Married them and then started to tell us how they met..??
I mean..Huh..??
The i do part lasted 3 minutes and the rest of the Bullsh*t lasted 55 minutes.
After that they went to their church (which is located in the Canteen of a local highschool)
And the ceremony there lasted only 45 minutes but was much better.
Eventhough i'm not religious and not a churchgoing person i liked it so much more than the civil ceremony. It was much more personal.
But still it was and still not is the way i want my wedding to be.
I want to get married in a nice dress, doesn't have to be a proper wedding dress.
But a nice white summerdress or something like that.

Am i the only one that feels like this..???

So more good news.
I do not hve anything in my boob other than my busted implant and the stuff that's supposed to be there. YAY..!!!
More good news.
The very sweet plastic surgeon that i had a appointment with, said that as i'm in the middle of a diet she couldn't operate on my right now.
But she said if you are willing to wait untill you finish the diet i can not only change the implant but that she might also be able to correct the saggy boobs of which i'm already suffering (something that will only get worse the more weight i lose) And she would be able to make my insurance pay for it. More YAY..!!
So i'm gonna wait (which is completely safe by the way) and hope to get nice tittays again.
I've gone down one whole cupsize already...!!

I've decided to order some hair extensions.
I've been wanting them for i don't know how long and i had promised myself that once i lost 10 kilos i was going to buy them for myself as a reward.
Well i've lost 9.7 kilos sofar so i feel i can treat myself to them.
Now is the question which one should i order.
Do i order dark brown, medium brown or light brown..??
And from with seller.

Do any of you have some info for me..??

I caved for Cakes

I caved yesterday..

Since i've been on my diet (5 weeks now) i've been wanting to make cupcakes.
But besides the fact i'm not allowed to eat them, i also can't taste the batter and so on.
So it was absolutely nonsense for me to bake cupcakes.

At least that was until my collegue brought Marble cake in to work for her birthday, and asked me to cut them into slices.
The smell made me drool (not on the cake, i promise)
And as i read Bakerella's Blog and the Retro Bakery Blog i really wanted to bake.
I went home, sat myself behind the computer and thought ..What do i care.
So i got on my coat and rushed to the supermarket.
And raided the bake section.
Now it was officially time to bake.
I had promised myself that after i was done baking i HAD to clean the kitchen (see last entry to why i had to clean). So i cleaned my counter first and got everything ready.
I decided to bake chocolat cupcakes with chunks of white chocolat inside.
And vanilla Cupcakes with chunks of dark chocolat inside.
It turned out i didn't have enough vanilla batter so i stole a bit from the chocolat one before i added the cocoa powder. But i did'nt put in the chunks of chocolat.

So i ended up with.:

-6 Chocolat cupcakes with Chunks of white chocolat
-4 Vanilla Cupcakes with chunks of dark chocolat &
-2 Vanilla cupcakes sliced in half and filled with strawberry sauce.

i made chocolat frosting for the vanilla cupcakes and vanilla frosting for the chocolat ones.
On the "plain" cupcakes (with the strawberry inside) i wrote i love you with special "frosting" pens.

And as i wasn't allowed to eat them my dear sweet boyfriend was the chosen one.
But..as he is coming down with the flue he didn't see himself eating all 12 and made me make my co-workers very happy this morning.
I took 8 with me (i left the "i love you" ones at home, + 1 chocolat and a vanilla one)

My collegues were really happy with my baking fit
And asked me when my next fit would be LOL

So i started thinking (i really shouldn't do that, by the way) as my BF loves the Subway cookies
That maybe i could make those for him. And maybe some doughnuts too.
And as my sister in-law is turning 33 next week i thought, why not bake her eclairs.
And i want to make fondant.

So the girl who isn't allowed to eat it, is going to make enough gooedies to feed a small third world country.
And the BF wants pancakes with bacon and syrop for dinner.
I mean what is he trying to do, make me drool to death or something..??
But i promise i'll be strong i won't touch the stuff, i'll stick to my chicken and veggie stir fry.
although i did find myself stick my finger in my mouth after finishing the cupcakes, and thinking oh no you didn't. but i did. and i loved it. only licked one finger though.

I think i have a new obsession.

And yes it's food (what did you expect..it's me we're talking about)
I am in love with Bakerella's Cupcakes.

They look sooo gorgeous...!!!
I wish my microwave would work with me so i could make them.
I would even keep my kitchen spotless if i could just bake cakes and cupcakes then.

I could always try again..i guess..??

Oh and my alltime dream/fantasy..!!

Owning my own American style diner, and serve all thing american.
Like mega cheeseburgers and Cupcakes and so on.
I absolutely love american stuff and not just the fries and burgers.
No the Mac and Cheese too, and just make everythong so delicious.
That people would wanna eat there everyday.
Ps remember Arnolds fromk happy Days, i want that kinda diner...!!

But i'm afraid i'll just have to keep on dreaming...

It's a nice dream to have though...

what a week

Hi Guys sorry for neglecting my blog and twitter...!!

I've been really busy at work and at home.
As i'm not moving i've decided to do up my house.
Which ofcourse begins with cleaning the whole thing.
and i hate cleaning, but i promised myself in the beginning of this year
that i would turn myself in to a perfect housewife (like that's ever gonna happen..!!)
But i mean i can try...right ..???
I walked into my kitchen this weekend and it was a mega wake up call for me.
It was disgusting, ok i admit i wasn't sticking to the floor or anything like that.
But as my garbage bag was full, i guess i just started to use my counter as a temp. storage place or something. And to top things all my freezer has frozen shut ..!!!
And i had bought some frozen fish...!!
so i trew that away this morning, as i wasn't planning on going anywhere near it ever ever again.
I mean it didn't smell or anything but just the idea that it had been in the fridge instead of the freezer, kinda freaked me out.

And i also trew out everything i hadn't used in a week or 2.
So my fridge is nice and clean, now i just have to find a way to unfreeze my freezer.
I think the ice in it is about 2 inches thick.
maybe i'll blow dry it away...

So well my diets going like a charm,
i've lost 7 kilo's and just over 1 dressize..!!

YAY FOR ME.....!!!!

It's highly addictive i tell you..!!

She is amazing, her sense of humor is hilarious.
She manages to put a smile on my face every single day...!!
Now that is a power woman..!!
She does what she wants and gets what she wants.
But she is also the sweetest thing ever...!!
The meals she cooks on het blog are soooo mouthwatering that i deceided to ask her for advice on food. I'm in the 5th week of my diet now, and i'm getting bored with my meals.
So i asked the divine food guru inside her for advice.
I just know i will love every single thing she comes up with.

I'm into cooking and baking lately..well....at least i'm thinking about cooking and baking.
I only have a microwave with a grill in it.
So pies and cake are out of the question.
And cooking, well i do my best, but on this diet, i admit my inspiration is out of the door, on a very very long holiday and it forgot it's cellphone and it doesn't have twitter either LOL

So but i also have good news..

As we are not going to buy a house this year, we will be going on a 3 week holiday to the US of A.
Los Angeles and Las Vegas will be the places we will visiting.
YaY..!!
Ok it will be in October but i can't wait.
Still trying to decide which hotel in vegas i wanna go to.
I mean i can stay at the Luxor...but i'll only be sleeping there.
Anyone got any advice..??

Recipe request

Hello Ladies & Gentleman (hi Pdub readers)

On The pioneers Woman cooks i posted a request for recipes as i'm on a diet so i can't have a lot of things.

I can have:

Lo fat meat, Chicken Breast and fishwise i can't have Salmon.
I'm allowed only italian cheeses like mozarella
but i can't combine them with mat/chicken and or fish.
and i can't combine meats and chicken etc.
I have to eat my meats with veggies.

my veggies are:

colliflower, leek, bean sprouts, endive, spinach, mushroom, onion (2 tablespoons per meal)
green bell pepper, and i can have lettuce

spices/Herbs are all allowed.

i can have a teaspoon of may per meal and no ketchup with sugar.

So who can help me figure out a gorgeous recipe...!!???

Getting annoyed

Why do people always think they can do anything without even asking me.
I mean, i do have a say in things..!!

here at work people are moving office.
That's nice and all, it's just not so nice when they take over the office next to you and dump the stuff in front of your (mine in this case) desk.
I'm the receptionist where i work so i'm behind a big desk with lots of space and a server.
So the office next to the reception area was being used for meetings and now they've decided to put a couple of people in it.
Whih i don't mind at all.
It's just the fact you can't get to my desk because of all their junk that i mind.
And the fact that as they didn't want to be in the dust that the copier spits out.
No now i have to sit in it. (nice when you have allergies..!!)
And where the copier is now, there was a clothesrack for the coats.
They've now placed that behind me in front of a closet...!!

They're driving me NUTS..!!

I'm going home..!!

Well, i hva eto admit that 'day one actually went by really fast.
Day 2 is going ok as well except for the splitting headache i'm having.
BUt apparently you are supposed to get a headache.
(Man it's even effecting my writing)

Day One of: The Diet Diaries

Ok so here we go.

This is my first day on my new diet.

And i'm sticking to this one, like glue.

I am not going to eat a single thing that i'm not allowed to eat and/or drink.

I won't even try and sniff something i'm not allowed to eat.

So what did i eat today....

I started of my day with some yoghurt.

Very awfull tasting yoghurt actually.

I almost threw up, trying to devour the "stuff", i had another word for it but i've decided to try and stay nice during the whole diet-thing.

as a snack i had a Apple.

I'm allowed 2 pieces of fruit and 5 Fjord Crackers a day.

And for lunch i had 2 crackers with philadelphia and a piece of cucumber.

I have to admit but it was actually really filling and tasty.

So i just have to figure out what to make for dinner.

it has to be with either chicken, fish or meat and veggies.

But i'm not allowed every veggie

poor me - i can only have 2 tablespoons of onion a day..!! :'(

I'm kinda addicted to onion, i love it, love it, love it.

But now i'm going to have to leave it, leave it.

Ok as i'm a multi tasting wonder extraordinaire i've decided to eat the following:

A chicken stir fry - consisting of:

Chicken (really..??)

Onion (need my onion)

Mushroom

Mung Bean Sprouts

and a green bell pepper.

Yummie yummie

Just have to figure out the sauce, it's probably going to be soy sauce.

I'm drooling now..'

Ok one of my collegues ( yes i know, it's past 5 pm and i'm still at work, me and the man are carpooling and he doesn't finish until 5 pm so i have some extra blogging time whoohoo..!!) just

told me it's snowing.

I just took a photo with my mobile.

But it seems it got scared by the snow, as it's just died on me.

I'm trying to get it to breathe again, so hold on for the pics...

Being the lazy person i am.

My desk at work also looks like a bomb has just gone off.

It's like this picture but worse..!!

And the annoying thing is.
I'm a receptionist so everybody sees my junk.
And also in my work, i'd rather be online than do something constructive.
Which totally isn't a good attitude if you want to keep your job.
So my tasks at work today are....

1.) Get those certificates outta here
2.) Get the invitations out.
3.) Clean up...!!!

I'll keep you posted on how i'm doing....

update: i have done...ehm..........never mind

So and then there's the losing weight problem...
I'm going to Wendy's (my Walk away the pounds Buddy) to do so more Walking
And i'm on the south beach diet.
And as you can see in my last post french fries is not allowed.
It's carbs fried in bad fat.
So i have to start all over again.
But i've only got myself to blame.

So today my home task is:

1.) make the delious green beans from kays recipe on http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2008/11/country-green-beans/

2.) Find another yummie recipe for meat or something.
3.) wash dishes directly after dinner
4.) feel good about doing the above things.

So here i am, i'm gonna call myself "Me" in this blog.

In this blog i'm going to be sharing all aspects of my life with you.

Hence why im calling myself "Me" in this blog as i won't be using my real name.

Not that i think that anyone will know who i am IRL but still.

Kinda like to talk about myself this way.

I just turned 27 yesterdag, i have been with my boyfriend (who i will refer to as my Bunny (no not because of that, there are children reading this , remember..!!??) Honey, sweetie, my man anyway you get my point) for 10 years next February and we've been living together for 4 of them.

I have a guinnea pig called Harry and a hamster called Miss Moneypenny and a bunch of goldfish.

I work as a receptionist, with unlimited acces to the web. so i'm on it all day long.

But back to the reason for this blog....

A couple of days before my 27th B-day i decided that i was fed up with being the person i don't wanna be.

I'm a lazy, fat & unperfect Housewife.

I live in a 2 bedroom flat and i just can't keep clean..!!

The reason:......

I'M TO **** LAZY..!!

I'd rather step over something than pick it up.

The only things i keep clean are my toilet, Bed and the 2 cages as i don't want to my sweeties to suffer because i'm lazy.

As my whole family (ahum 7 people incl. inlaws) were coming to my house (NOOOO..!!! That means cleaning) .

Thanks to the Big Guy , my "Bunny" was home. Okay i admit he was at home because he had the flue and pneumonia, but he was there to clean my stuff up.

So on Sunday we were up till 2 doing the dishes (i even got those wrinkled granny hands)

Next morning i got out of bed at 07:00.

And he called me at 11:00 he had already gone to the stores and got my cake and the groceries.

AND he was cleaning the house.

By the time i got home at 17:15 my house was immaculate.

I only had to do the toilet just to be safe, that's it.

He had cleaned the bedrooms, kitchen living room, cleaned the windows and all the mirrors.

I swear i hit the lottery with my man.

But anyway. I was so ashamed.

He was the one that was sick, bought me a gorgeous b-day present, did my shopping and cleaned my house...!! And i come home from work 2 hours before him and do nothing in the house.

I mean it's just us 2 and i can't even keep my house clean, what in heaven's name will i do when we ever ever have kids. I mean i get it now why he doesn't want them.

I wouldn't even let my own kids crawl in my own house.

So i decided i was gonna change, and i was going to start right now.

I promised myself i was gonna do some cleaning up when i got home yesterday

And I actually did that..!!!

I'm so proud of myself..!!

I went to my friend to do some "Walk away the pounds"

as we both have a couple of pounds to walk away from hahaha

So when i got home at 18:20 i was dead tired.

But on the way home i kept reminding myself that if i was gonna change, i had to do it right.

So i got home, kissed my man, got myself to the kitchen en did some washing up.

And i forget how much stuff you use when 7 people come to your house

So by the time my Bunny got off the phone i had already washed all the dishes, put a load of laundry in my dryer and put a new load in the washer.

And i was getting dinner started.
Well, ahum dinner i made french fries

(i know not a good thing when you wanna lose some weight)

And he was like...Wow you did all this on your own..??

Wow i'm proud (and when my honey says he's proud of me i feel like i'm on cloud no. 9)

So this morning i got up early and promised myself to keep up the good work
